About the treatment

Information and planning

Dental implants are structures that provide support within the bone for restorations planned to replace missing teeth. In the evaluation, bone volume and quality, gum health, adjacent anatomical structures, general health status, medications used and oral care are considered together. The number and location of the implant and the restoration to be made on it are planned according to the prosthetic goal with three-dimensional imaging.

The treatment method and duration are determined according to the clinical examination, radiographic assessment and individual needs.
01

Treatment options

Available methods

The appropriate method is selected according to clinical findings and individual needs.

01

Single tooth implant

It aims to replace a single missing tooth independently of neighboring teeth.

02

Implant supported bridge

If there is more than one deficiency, it receives support from the appropriate number of implants.

03

Removable denture support

In appropriate cases, it is planned to increase the retention of the prosthesis.

Before deciding

Points to consider

Active gum disease, inadequate oral care, smoking, uncontrolled systemic diseases and some medications may affect risk assessment. Each case is handled individually.

Other options

Alternative approaches

Tooth-supported bridge, removable prosthesis or clinical follow-up of the gap may be an alternative in suitable cases.
